30-6-12 - Red

Breakfast: Strawberries, Raspberries, Watermelon, Blueberries, grapes, fat free greek style natural yogurt

Lunch: Tikka Chicken, Lettuce, Cucumber, Cherry tomatoes, beetroot, apple, banana, grapes, strawberries with natural yogurt & splenda, 60g Kerry Low Low with red pepper & chilli, wholemeal roll (48g)

Tea: cucumber, lettuce, carrot, white cabbage, beetroot, tikka chicken, melon, 2 clayford burgers, fried egg, wholemeal roll (50g), melon

Thoughts

Pretty incredible today so far, enjoyed the food, even though I ended up eating half of my mums grapes this afternoon! I was also really happy to find that a pair of denim shorts that didn't fit a few weeks ago now do, so that has overshadowed everything and also given me an incentive to keep it going. 
I did make the mistake of getting on the scales today for them to say I had gained, but hopefully its just that they are wrong, because they have been before, so will wait for weigh in on Monday. I have restricted syns this week in the hope it would help, so would really like it to be worth it! It's all swings and roundabouts to be honest


Feeling a bit happier now, the black trousers I mentioned earlier in the week now fit! So pleased, so not so worried if I do have a gain now because I've lost measurement-wise instead

29.6.12: Red

Healthy Extras

A: 250 Semi Skimmed Milk, 60g Kerry Low Low Spread with Chilli & Red Pepper
B: 60g Wholemeal Roll, 200g Potatoes, including skins

Breakfast: Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries & grapes with fat free natural yogurt

Banana

Lunch: lettuce, cucumber, tomato, carrot, onion, red cabbage, sliced turkey breast

Tea: Potato wedges, wholemeal roll, 2 clayford burgers (syn free), lettuce, cucumber, tomato, carrot, onion, red cabbage, fried egg, 60g kerry low low

Thoughts

It's Friday! Been into town to get some syn free burgers from the Clayford Farm stall, so having burger, salad & potato wedges for tea, followed by Eton Mess. It'll mean using the rest of my Healthy Extras, but it'll be so worth it :)

I so want to be able to wear the black trousers that I have in the wardrobe, I'm still quite limited clothes wise, but have some 'smaller' 14's that don't quite fit, and I refuse to buy new ones for my holiday when I have those just waiting to be slimmed into.

Tea was incredible!

Thoughts

Still feeling very positive about it all this week, managed to go all day without any syns and used 10.5 before bed as an afterthought! Really enjoyed my supper because it felt naughty, even though it was my A & B with a beaten egg, cooked in frylight, and already looking forward to having it again tomorrow. Might even suggest Chris trying it!
Already have breakfast planned, and salad for lunch, nothing for tea yet, but we're shopping tomorrow, so should find something nice
So, I've decided to attempted to blog my food diaries, and any thoughts for that day. I'm the first to admit that I'm rubbish at this, but have been writing out everything in a book - remember the good old days, so if I do miss a day, I can always add it later on. So, a little 'About Me'. I'm Dawn, 33, mum to Corin, 3 and wife to Chris. We've been married for 5 years. I've been on Slimming World since June 14 2011, and started at a weight of 20 stones 5lbs. A year later, I'd lost 5 and a half stones which is incredible. Not surprisingly, the weight loss has slowed down, so I changed plan to see if that makes a difference, going from Extra Easy to Original, or Red. Anyway, here it is, my food diary blog, I hope you like it x

28.6.12 - Red

Healthy Extra A's: 250ml Semi Skimmed Milk, 30g Cheddar
Healthy Extra B's: 2 slices of wholemeal bread from a 400g loaf, 2 Hifi light bars

Breakfast: grapes, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, natural fat free yogurt

Lunch: tikka chicken, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers

Tea: Turkey stirfry (mixed stirfry pack from morrisons), mushrooms, soy sauce. Options, stirred into a pot of Quark - half the pot (1) with strawberries & splenda. 

Cheese sandwich dipped in beaten egg and fried

Syns: Graze 'My Thai' (4.5), Velvet Crunch (4), New York Cheesecake flavour mullerlight (0.5), 2 hifi lights. = 10 syns!

Thoughts

Mad day, not much time to keep notes, buit still on plan 100% and didn't go over 10 syns again, so happy with that.

26-6-12 - red plan

Healthy Extras

A: 250 Semi Skimmed Milk, 30g Cheddar
B: 35g Dried weight whole wheat Pasta, 2 slices wholemeal bread from400g loaf

Breakfast: Raspberries, Grapes, Blueberries, Strawberries & Banana. Mango Shape Delight 0% yogurt, coffee

Coffee, Apple

Tea (milk not from HEA, so 1/2 a syn)

Lunch: Lettuce, Carrot, Red Cabbage, Cucumber, Cherry Tomatoes, Chicken Breast & Mushroom Omelette (no milk added, just 3 eggs & seasoning), coffee

Dinner: Carrot, Cauliflower, Brocolli, Ham & Pasta bake, Banana & a coffee

Syns: (1/2) dash of milk (as above), 25g bag of salt & vinegar hula hoops (6.5), 15g reduced fat soft cheese (1), funsized Mars (4), Hifi light (3)n = 15 syns

Thoughts
Really enjoyed tea tonight, its a 'normal' meal which I love and thoroughly enjoyed being able to eat the lot without having to worry about syns. Lunch was really nice too. Wasn't sure about how a chicken & mushroom omelette would turn out, but it was delicious

Still feeling a little bad about going over 10 syns. I'd intended this week to only have 10 a day where possible, but at least I stayed within limit and didn't go over 15.

25.6.12

25.6.12: Following the Red Plan

Breakfast: Coffee with milk from HEA, then once I'd weighed in I had an apple, banana, a toffee muller and a hifi light bar, and a tea with milk (1/2 a syn)

Lunch: Subway turkey & ham salad with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onion, green peppers & gherkins and a diet coke

In the afternoon I went to my sisters and ended up eating an ice pole my son didn't want, I have no idea what the syns were if any.

Tea: Hot smoked ginger & soy salmon (free on Red/EE), lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red cabbage & carrot, followed by a fizzy fruit salad - apple, banana & satsuma in sugar free lemonade.

Evening snacks: Pineapple slices and a hifi light bar. Shape Delight 0% Peach & Passionfruit Yogurt, Soft cheese on toast (HEA & HEB)

Syns: Cheese & Onion Velvet Crunch - 4 syns, Funsized Mars - 4 Syns.

A Choices: 250ml Semi Skimmed Milk, 75g Reduced fat soft cheese
B Choices: 2 Slices Wholemeal bread from a 400g loaf, 2 x hifi light bars

Thoughts: Although I expected a gain today, I was shocked at how much it was, still its reassuring that I know exactly where the gain came from. I've decided that I'll go back onto Original plan and see how things are and if I'm unhappy with next Monday's target then I'll ask for an SAS log or possibly try a few days on 'Success Express'. Today was a slap on the wrists, so hopefully I can get back to it now. I still have 41.5lbs to lose before I hit target and if I'm eating junk its not going to help in the slightest!

Head is screwed firmly back on, just hope I can keep it there through the week now. Fruit & yogurt planned for breakfast, most likely a salad for lunch and veggie, ham & pasta cheese bake for tea, and will plan the rest of the week as it happens
